Do not tell struggling families that their government is going to protect the world climate by making electricity unaffordable to the majority of the population.
Australians do not want to see seniors and children suffering, because they cannot afford to pay their electricity or water.
Telling the majority of us that the electricity will double, and there is nothing we can do to stop it, is not a good vision, we expect more from a government.
Most of us are concerned with the climate but we want real change, and are very cynical of the all process.
Innovative products should be promoted in the construction of the new houses, scientists and universities should be involved in this consultation process.
Forget nuclear it is an old song, we have better and safer technologies available to us at the moment.
Australian families hear that Australia economy is doing so good, in contrast the big majority are afraid of loosing their houses, if the interest rates and power bills continue to go up without any control, and the affordability of food and commodities costs dramatically increases.
People are feeling uneasy, and unsure of the future of their families, they see their government unwilling and powerless to do anything to help them if and when the power company or the banks decide to suddenly and dramatically increase their bills.
Australians are not impressed with the government performance in those important areas, because that means that they can loose their houses or prevent them from buying one.
The government needs to be innovative and implement positive changes for Australia, not give Australian families a negative grime future without vision or hope.
