Confessions of a young anti-feminist | Article | The Punch
For thousands of years men were providers and protectors and women nurturers. Evolution provided each with the physical and emotional assets to do these jobs well.
Well into the last century the husband provided his family with a home and food and this sole responsibility gave him a sense of power and purpose. And women didn’t feel pressure to justify their existence with a career. They were proud home makers and mothers.
Until feminism.
Now, two thirds of Australian families with dependent children have two incomes. Women are more independent, and consequently they are less dependent on men.

I felt very sad when I read your article, a women that lives in Australia and has so much to thank for from a few feminists that started a fight a few decades ago.
Today we can enjoy the benefits such as voting, the right to keep/see the children when divorced, right to justice, equal pay (not yet), and many more.
I think the author should go and live in other countries for awhile, and then just maybe she will appreciate what we have and not take it for granted.
That was the way the new regime of Iran started, with women saying similar things like the ones in your writings, look at them now.
It would be nothing wrong if men became more nurturing, maybe be we will have less wars.
There are countries were feminism never existed. Where, as a custom, your genitals are mutilated with no anesthetic as a child.
Were you can go nowhere, day or night, without the risk of being gang raped, be one of many wives, have no rights, can not drive, can not go out without a male companion or can not show their hair or face.
Girl, you have been spoiled by the rights that were fought for by so many for so long. You have no idea what type of discrimination women did and do endure. Not so long ago women had no rights to education, justice or laws, even in the west.
I was never an activist, but your writing made me feel upset. Read what is going on and you will be terrified by the crimes that humanity are committing against women and children around the world. Praise the feminists that changed our laws so we can be treated with justice.
Maybe if the men and women become more empathic, and "nurturing" the world will be a better place to live in.
To be a man is not necessary to be the sole breadwinner, like football, drink beer, not do any housework and be violent.
It is women like you that confuse good men...Women and men need to become great and live in a wonderful place.
Would you like to turn Australia into an Iranian look alike?
