"UN Women"merges four UN agencies and offices into one

On 2 July 2010, the United Nations General Assembly unanimously voted to create a single UN body tasked with accelerating progress in achieving gender equality and women’s empowerment.
The new UN Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women – orUN Women – will merge four of the world body’s agencies and offices: the UN Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM), the Division for the Advancement of Women (DAW), the Office of the Special Adviser on Gender Issues, and the UN International Research and Training Institute for the Advancement of Women (UN-INSTRAW).

STOP BULLYING IN SCHOOLS AND WORK
There is a misconception that only the weak and fragile are bullied.
Generally the focus is in the victim as if it was only up to them to stop the bullying.
Often we see bullying being glorified by TV shows , sports personalities, and by people with social power and influence.
If we want our kids to grow up in a friendly and fair environment we have to understand the implications of our actions or no actions.

Animal killings in the Hills
Most people are unaware of what is going on at night at the Ponds in Bella Vista.
Ducks have been tortured, burned and arranged in a display. Is that sick or what?
Apparently this is been happening all over the Hawkesbury and Hills area . Do you know that serial killers start by killing animals and displaying them in such a bizarre form.
